Darryl is always in motion, perfecting what is, while creating what's yet to be. His finely honed entrepreneurial spirit and deep roots in music have led to the creation of D'Ventures Limited, LLC, a business consulting and investment firm. In addition to real estate holdings, D'Ventures co-owns The Beehive Restaurant and Lounge, crowned "the place to be" in Boston, and BeanTown Sounds, an artist-booking agency specializing in the finest jazz, soul, blues, and top 40 bands in the Boston area.

In 2001 Darryl was the driving force behind the phenomenally successful BeanTown Jazz Festival, which is still going strong today. Darryl is now working with The Berklee College of Music to produce future festivals and events.

Dedicated to improving the city's arts, Darryl contributes much of his time (some people say his clock has more than 24 hours) to local boards and civic organizations.

For all that he is done and continues to do, Darryl has been named one of Boston Magazine's, "Forty Bostonians We Love," along with receiving a whole host of awards for his leadership and vision.

It seems the only thing Darryl is unable to do is sit on his laurels.
